Media library
Everything your workspace has generated or been sent, in one place. Open Media in the sidebar to browse it, pull a picture back into a conversation, join clips into a single video, or clear out what you no longer need.
What's in it
Pictures and videos your agents generated, voiceovers and music they produced, videos they assembled, and files people sent into a conversation. It is scoped to the workspace, not to you: media made by an agent during a scheduled run or a customer conversation appears here alongside your own, because that is who produced most of it. Filter by kind, and by where it came from once that information is recorded.
Reusing something in a chat
This is the most useful thing the library does. In any conversation, open the + menu beside the message box and choose From media library. Pick one or more items and they attach to your next message without being uploaded again.
That is what lets an agent work on something it made days ago:
- attach a picture and say "animate this" to get a short video that starts from that exact frame
- attach a picture and describe a change to edit it rather than generate something new
- attach several and ask for a post, an email, or a carousel built around them
Joining clips into one video
Select two to ten videos or pictures, then choose Join. They are stitched into a single video in the order you selected them, so pick them in the order you want them to play. Pictures become slow pans rather than still frames.
You can choose the shape (reel, square, portrait or landscape), whether clips hard-cut or fade into each other, and whether the clips keep their own audio. The finished video lands back in the library.
For anything more styled than a straight join - captions, text overlays, background music ducked under a voiceover, a cover frame - attach the pieces to a chat instead and describe what you want. The agent's Compose Media tool handles all of that.
Deleting
Open an item and choose Delete, or select several and delete them together. Deleting is permanent: the file is gone and cannot be recovered, and anywhere its link already appears - in an old conversation, in a post you published - it will stop loading. You'll be told how much space it freed.
You can delete up to 100 at a time. Each file is handled independently, so one problem never stops the rest - if something does go wrong you're told exactly how many were removed and which ones are left, and those stay selected so you can try again. Anything that had already been deleted simply counts as gone rather than as a failure.
Behaviors & gotchas
- Only pictures and videos can be joined. Voiceovers, music and documents can be attached to a chat, but not stitched into a video - add audio through a chat instead.
- Order is the selection order. Deselect and reselect to reorder.
- Newest first. The library isn't sortable; use the kind filters and the date range to narrow it.
- "Upload" isn't only pictures. It covers anything sent into a conversation, including PDFs, spreadsheets and text files.
- Search covers prompts, so it finds media made from a description. Anything generated before prompts were recorded won't match.
