Use your ChatGPT plan

If you already pay for ChatGPT, you can connect that account to your workspace and run your agents on ChatGPT models. Those model calls go through your own ChatGPT plan, so Hania doesn't charge you for them.

This is your ChatGPT account, not ours. When you connect it, your agents use your account and your plan's limits, and OpenAI's terms apply to that use. You're responsible for making sure the way you use it is allowed, and Hania isn't responsible if OpenAI limits, suspends or closes your account. Read Your responsibilities before you connect.

How it works

You sign in to your ChatGPT account once, from Workspace settings. After that, ChatGPT models appear in every agent's model list, and any agent you set to one of them sends its requests through your account.

What changes and what doesn't:

Model usage - counts against your ChatGPT plan, not your Hania usage credit. There's no model charge from Hania.
Everything else - phone calls, speech, voice, tools and the rest are billed as normal. See Plans & usage.
Other agents - agents on any other model carry on exactly as before. Connecting doesn't switch anything over for you.

The connection belongs to the workspace, so one connected account serves every agent in it.

Before you start

You need to be an owner or admin of the workspace. Other roles can see the connection but can't change it. See roles.
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and turn on device code sign-in. Hania signs in with a short code rather than your password, and ChatGPT only accepts those codes once this is on. If your ChatGPT account belongs to a company workspace, your ChatGPT admin may need to allow it first.

Connect your account

Click your name in the bottom-left corner of the dashboard and choose Workspace settings.
Open the ChatGPT tab and click Connect ChatGPT.
Hania shows a link and a short code. Open the link, sign in to ChatGPT if it asks, and enter the code.
Approve the request in ChatGPT.

You don't need to do anything else in Hania. The tab checks in the background and changes to Connected once you approve, along with the name of your ChatGPT plan.

The code lasts 15 minutes. If it runs out before you approve, the tab tells you, and you can click Connect again for a new one.

Choose a ChatGPT model for an agent

Open the agent, go to its General tab and click Show all models. ChatGPT models are marked your ChatGPT plan. Pick one and save.

These models have no cost mark, because Hania doesn't charge for them. They only appear in the list while your workspace is connected. For more on the model list, see Choosing a model.

Plan limits and reconnecting

Your ChatGPT plan has its own usage limits, set by OpenAI. When an agent reaches one, it can't reply until the limit resets, and the conversation shows a message saying when that will be. Hania can't raise these limits or work around them.

If the ChatGPT login stops working, the tab shows Needs reconnecting with the reason. Click Reconnect and go through the same steps. Until you do, agents on ChatGPT models can't reply.

If an agent talks to your customers and must always answer, think about keeping it on a Hania model. A plan limit or an expired login stops a ChatGPT model from replying, and Hania can't switch it to another model for you.

Disconnecting

Click Disconnect on the ChatGPT tab and Hania stops using your account. Agents still set to a ChatGPT model can't reply until you connect again or choose another model for them, so it's worth moving them first.

Your responsibilities

Connecting a ChatGPT account is your choice, and a few things come with it:

OpenAI's terms apply. Your ChatGPT account and plan are between you and OpenAI. You're responsible for making sure your use through Hania is allowed under OpenAI's terms and your plan, including when your agents talk to your customers or run on a schedule.
OpenAI is in control of your account. OpenAI sets the limits, decides which models your plan includes, and can change, restrict, suspend or close an account. Hania has no say in any of that and isn't responsible if it happens.
It can stop working. OpenAI can change how ChatGPT sign-in works at any time. We'll do our best to keep the connection working, but we can't promise it will, and we may have to change or remove it.
Only connect an account you're allowed to use. That means your own account, or a company account you have permission to connect.

What OpenAI has said

OpenAI's Codex for Open Source page says developers "should code in the tools they prefer", and names third-party tools such as OpenCode, Cline and OpenClaw. OpenClaw, for example, can run on a ChatGPT plan using the same kind of sign-in. OpenAI explains device code sign-in in its authentication guide.

Neither page is an agreement between OpenAI and Hania, and they don't replace OpenAI's own terms for your account. If you're not sure your use is allowed, check with OpenAI, or keep your agents on a Hania model.
